Biography

Ph.D., Director of the Centre for Europe of the University of Warsaw for the 2020–2024 term (between 2016–2020, he was the Deputy Director of CE UW for Research and International Cooperation). His research interests focus on the following problems: the role and position of the EU in the world, EU relations with the countries of Sub-Saharan Africa, and development aid, and he is the author of several dozen scientifi c publications on these subjects. He has participated in numerous international research projects, and is the former manager of three projects under grants from the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He has provided lectures at over 20 European and Asian universities, including those in Paris, Istanbul, Indonesia, and China. He is a member of several scientifi c councils of foreign journals including the “On-line Journal Modeling the New Europe” journal. A commentator on international affairs on radio and television.
