Selin M. Bölme

Biography

PhD, and an Associate Professor at Marmara University, Institute of Middle East and Islamic Countries. She received her PhD in International Relations at Ankara University. She has worked as a Visiting Researcher in the Defence Studies Department at King’s College London where she also carried out her post-doctoral research. Bolme has extensively published on Turkish foreign policy, the Middle East, Turkey-US affairs, NATO, and defence and security issues. Her PhD thesis, titled “US Military Base Politics and Turkey: A Study on İncirlik Air Base”, was published as a book in 2012.
