Olha Ivasechko

Biography

Ph.D., is an associate professor at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Lviv Polytechnic National University, where she has been a faculty member since 2011. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Lviv Polytechnic National University, having completed both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Ivan Franko National University of Lviv. Dr. Ivasechko’s research interests encompass the history and theory of Ukrainian political science, European integration, the European security system, social policy, and energy security. She has made significant contributions to the field, with more than 150 publications in international relations, including 18 articles indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. In recognition of her academic achievements, Dr. Ivasechko was awarded a scholarship by the Chairman of the Lviv Regional State Administration in 2014 for her outstanding contributions to the development of political science. She also received the “Best Young Scientist” award from the National University “Lviv Polytechnic.” Dr. Ivasechko is actively involved in the academic community and is a member of the Scientific Council of the Institute of Social Sciences and Humanities at Lviv Polytechnic National University. She has participated in three Jean Monnet projects: The EU Eastern Partnership Initiative: Opportunities for Ukraine, European Studies for Technical Specialties at Lviv Polytechnic National University, and EU Global Responsible Leadership: Climate Change, Environmental Protection, and Humanitarian Aid. Additionally, she plays a key role in overseeing the protection of PhD programs at the Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences at Lviv Polytechnic National University.
