Jakub Kociubiński

Biography

LLM, PhD, DSc, University Professor at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics, University of Wrocław. His research interest focuses on the European Union competition law with a particular emphasis on State aid rules and transport regulations as well as the Belt and Road Initiative. He is the recipient of numerous research grants, and most recently he became the principal researcher in a project titled “Adaptation of the European Union Law of State aid to the Long Term Economic Consequences of the COVID-19 Pandemic” (OPUS-22) funded by the National Science Centre (2022–2024). He has also received multiple international recognitions, most recently in the I-CEE Global Forum Internationalization of Companies from Emerging Economies held on 28.08.2022 in Beijing for a paper (co-authored with Gavin Rae from Koźmiński University) titled “The Operational and Regulatory Challenges of Routing Freight by Rail from China to the European Union in the Light of Recent Developments. The Case of the Łódź Rail Logistics Hub in Poland”.
