Professor at the University of Economics in Katowice, head of the Department of Business Cycles and Economic Growth. Research interests: European monetary integration, the financial system and the real sphere of the economy, economic growth with particular emphasis on technical progress and productivity in the conditions of internationalization of their transfer channels. In the years 2008–2016 manager of the educational project financed by the National Bank of Poland “Functioning Mechanisms of the Eurozone”.
