Biography
Ph.D. – is an associate professor at the University of Tetova’s Faculty of Law in the Republic of North Macedonia. From 2022 to 2023, he held the position of Vice-Rector for Finance, Investments and Development at the University of Tetova. In 2021 he was elected for the first term, while in 2024 he was elected for the second term as a Member of the Senate of the University of Tetova. In 2021, he was elected by the Republican Assembly as a Member of the National Council for Higher Education and Research-Scientific Activity. From 2024 he is an active lecturer at the Academy for Judges and Public Prosecutors “Pavel Satev”, Skopje, North Macedonia. He is author of five textbooks: Law of Obligations (2023), Bankruptcy (2021), Business Law (2021), Non-Judicial Dispute Resolution (2019), International Business Law (2018), and Legal Consequences of Non-Performance of the Contract for International Sale of Goods (2016). He is also an author and co-author of more than 100 refereed papers in indexed scientific journals and conference proceedings books. In addition, he is a member of the editorial board and an official reviewer in twenty-four international scientific journals. Dr Shabani’s current research interests are business law, contract law, intellectual property, consumer protection, competition law, and international business law. As a visiting professor, he has lectured at world-renowned universities in various countries, including the USA, Italy, Greece, Slovenia, Croatia, Türkiye, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Albania, Serbia, and Kosovo.
