Anna Jastrzębiec-Witowska

Biography

holds a Ph.D. in sociology from the Jagiellonian University in Kraków in addition to an MA in European Studies from the University of Exeter in England. Her academic interests revolve around food security and the viability of food systems in times of crises. She currently works as the director of the public library in Dąbrowa Tarnowska after obtaining her cultural management certiﬁcation in 2022. In the past, she served on the Dąbrowski County Council (2014-2018), worked as a municipal ofﬁcer, and consulted for the international NGO Food and Water Watch.
