Information camaigns of the european union prince programme

Abstract

The article describes main information campaigns funded under the PRINCE programme of the European Union. Description starts from the origins of the programme and circumstances of its birth in 1995. The main part of paper presents 7 great campaigns: Citizens First, Building Europe Together, Euro, a currency for Europe, European Union Enlargement, The debate on the future of the European Union, Freedom, Security and Justice and The role of the European Union in the world. The article presents main assumptions of each of the campaign, reconstructs the course of events and finally presents their assessment and influence on behaviour of European Union citizens.
