Thiago Babo

Biography

Ph.D., received his doctorate in Political Science from the University of São Paulo (USP), Brazil. He is a coordinator at the Centre for Peace and Conflict Studies (CCP) and a researcher at the International Relations Research Centre (NUPRI), also at the University of São Paulo. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Santos, Brazil. His current research focuses on the Sociology of Conflict and Organised Violence, Theories of War and Peace, Civil War, Modern State Formation, Conflict and Security Studies, and the Sociology of International Relations.
