Stanisław Kosmynka

Biography

Full Professor at the University of Lodz, Faculty of the International and Political Studies. His scientific and research interests include issues related primarily to jihadist terrorism mechanisms – the doctrine and evolution of this phenomenon, as well as its forms of infl uence. He explores the relationship between religion and politics and examines the Spain security challenged by the Salafi movements and the mechanisms of violent radicalization in the Mediterranean region. In 2009–2014 Stanislaw Kosmynka was a visiting professor in Spain in the Universities of Granada, Santiago de Compostela, La Laguna and Vic.
