Serena Giusti

Biography

Ph.D., is an associate professor of International Relations at Link Campus University in Rome and associate researcher at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, and is a Senior Associate Research Fellow at the Institute for International Political Studies (ISPI) in Milan, and sits on the advisory board of Women in International Security (WIIS) – Italy. Professor Giusti has published extensively on the EU’s external relations, Russia’s foreign policy, international security and disinformation, and also on the securitisation of cultural heritage. Her latest publications include The Fall and Rise of National Interest: A Contemporary Approach, London, Palgrave Macmillan, 2022; S. Giusti, Piras, E. (Eds.), Democracy and Fake News: Information Manipulation and Post-Truth Politics, London, Routledge, 2021.
