Piotr Grabowiec

Ph.D., is a professor at the University of Wrocław. Since 2016, he has served as Head of the Department of European Studies and subsequently as Director of the Institute of European Studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the University of Wrocław. His research interests focus on issues such as civil religion, political theology, biopolitics, transhumanism, and posthumanism from the perspective of political anthropology and theories of civilisation. He is the author and co-editor of books and numerous scholarly articles. His major publications include the monographs Religia obywatelska jako teoretyczna propozycja integracji politycznej Wspólnoty Europejskiej (Wrocław, 2013), O bezpieczeństwie i polityce. Refleksje niedokończone (Wrocław, 2019), and the article Totalitarny wymiar gnozy politycznej transhumanizmu i posthumanizmu, published in Myśl Polityczna 2(13), 2022.
