Biography
the holder of a Ph.D. in International Relations, and is an Associate Professor at Istanbul University, Political Sciences Faculty. She is Jean Monnet Module Chair on the “Future of the EU: Security, Economy and Transatlantic Relations” FUTUREU. Her main areas of specialisation are Central and Eastern European Politics, European Studies, Diplomacy and Foreign Policy Analysis. Her Ph.D. thesis is called “Dilemma between Atlanticism and Europeanization in Poland’s Foreign Policy”. During her Ph.D. research, she spent a year at Warsaw University and learned the Polish language at POLONICUM at Warsaw University. She was a publication coordinator of the book “Turkish Foreign Policy Analyses in 21st Century”. She has participated in many international conferences such as CEEISA, WISC, and IBAC among others. She has written several book chapters both in Turkish and in English. She was the coordinator of an international project named “Poland and Turkey in Europe: Common Targets, Different Experiences” sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland. She was also a Science Diplomacy Advisor of the Academic and Scientifi c Cooperation Project of Turkey (TABIP) hosted under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Turkey .
