Mitko Arnaudov

Biography

Ph.D. – is a research fellow at the Institute of International Politics and Economics in Belgrade. Dr Arnaudov obtained his bachelor, MA, and Ph.D. qualifications at the University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Political Sciences. Since his academic engagement, his research focus has been small-state foreign policy, small-state strategic orientation, Western Balkan actors, and the European and Atlantic integration of the Western Balkans region. Dr Arnaudov has published more than 40 research papers, including a monography related to Open Balkans initiative, and was also engaged as a lecturer at and participant in numerous domestic, regional and international conferences, debates, summer schools and research academic frameworks. At the time of this writing, together with his colleague Dr Sanja Jelisavac Trošić, Dr Arnaudov is researching the role of economic development and national institutional efficiency and effectiveness in the process of the realisation of foreign policy goals vis-à-vis regional and international circumstances as regards the case study of small states.
