Mirella Kurkowska

Biography

Ph.D., is a graduate in History from the University of Warsaw and an Assistant Professor at the Centre for Europe, University of Warsaw. Her research focuses on the history of ideas and cultural history from the 19th to the 21st century, with particular emphasis on European comparative studies. Her interests include mass culture, the history of theatre, pantomime, and film, as well as the role of culture in the process of European integration. She also has personal experience in acting and pantomime.
