Biography

PhD, he is a Senior Lecturer and Researcher, specializing in Dutch-German relations, modern German history, military history, the Second World War and the early phase of European integration. He holds a PhD from Erasmus University Rotterdam, and he regularly publishes in national and international journals. He is editor-in-chief of “The Journal of Slavic Military Studies” and Corresponding Member of the “Journal of Military History”.
