Małgorzata Pacek

Biography

PhD, political scientist, graduate of the Jagiellonian University, since 2004 an Assistant Professor at the Center for Europe of the University of Warsaw. Between the years 1999–2004, Dr Pacek was a consul at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Hamburg, and between 2012–2016 – the Consul General of the Republic of Poland at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in The Hague/The Kingdom of the Netherlands. Her research interests focus on EU migration policy, the processes and integration of immigrants and refugees with particular emphasis on the integration of immigrant children, the participation of migrants in European labour markets, EU policy towards refugees, and Polish migration policy. The author of many scientifi c publications in these fi elds. Deputy editor-in-chief of the quarterly “Studia Europejskie – Studies in European a Affairs”. A participant of many conferences organized by the European Migration Network and projects on the integration of migrants from Ukraine in Poland (in collaboration with the Ivan Franko University in Lviv).
