Luis A. Collado Cueto

Biography

Ph.D., holds a degree in Economics and a PhD in Economics from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). He is an Associate Professor at UAM, having started his academic career at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. From 2017 to 2025, he served as Head of the Department of Economic Structure and Development Economics, and from 2020 to 2025, he was a member of the UAM Governing Council. His research focuses on economic, territorial, and rural development, sustainability, and public policies. He was the European co-coordinator of the Jean Monnet Network AMENET and the UAM Principal Investigator of the IDEAL-M project and the Jean Monnet Network AfriquEurope, in addition to leading more than 25 knowledge transfer projects with public and private entities.
