Leokadia Oręziak

full professor of economics, and head of the Department of International Finance at the SGH Warsaw School of Economics. She is the author of books and articles on European integration, public finance, and pension systems. In 2022, her book Pension Fund Capitalism – The Privatization of Pensions in Developed and Developing Countries was published by Routledge (London, New York). One of her main publications devoted to the European Union is her book Finanse Unii Europejskiej i strefy euro (Finances of the European Union and the Euro Area), published in 2020. In 2014–2015, she was a member of the international Advisory Committee on the Reform of the Pension System in Chile. Her book OFE – Katastrofa prywatyzacji emerytur w Polsce (OFE – The disaster of Privatisation of Pensions in Poland) was recognised as the best Polish book disseminating economic knowledge in the 2014 Economicus competition.
