Krystyna Gomółka

Biography

Full Professor of social science, at the Deparment of Eastern Studies, the Faculty of Management and Economics, Gdańsk University of Technology. She is the author of 18 books and 260 scientific articles about cross-border cooperation, the labour market, the employment of women, youth civic participation, and political and economic transformation in post-Soviet States. The author has published papers and books in English, Russian, and Polish. As co-author, her most recent book was published in 2020 entitled, Youth Civic Participation in The South Baltic Region. Example of Lithuania, Poland and Sweden and Bezpośrednie Inwestycje Zagraniczne. Świat – Europa – Kaukaz – Polska. Krystyna Gomółka has been the Head of three international research projects financed by the following programs: Poland–Russia, Norwegian Financial Mechanism, and Interreg, South Baltic. Since February 2022, she has been participating in research on the employment of Ukrainians in Poland on the basis of contracts signed with Gremii Personal.
