Karolina Hermann

Biography

Ph.D. candidate – is a graduate of Russian Philology (University of Gdansk, 2019), European Studies (University of Warsaw, 2021), and Eastern Studies (University of Warsaw, 2022). She is currently a Ph.D. student at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences at the University of Warsaw. From 2022 to 2023, she served as an analyst for European bilateral relations at the Office of International Policy in The Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland. She is a national delegate in the Corps of the Presidency of the Republic of Poland in the Council of the European Union in 2025 (on behalf of the Ministry of Finance) and a collaborating expert of the Budget Committee of the Council of the European Union. Her research interests focus on determinants and priorities of the foreign policy of the post-Yugoslav states and the cooperation of the Western Balkan countries with the Russian Federation.
