Jan Hagemejer

Biography

Ph.D. – an associate professor at the University of Warsaw’s Faculty of Economic Science, and additionally serves as the vice president of CASE – the Center of Social and Economic Research. Previously, he has worked for the National Bank of Poland as the Chief of the Structural Analysis Division and as a research assistant at the Global Trade Analysis Project (GTAP). He is a graduate of the University of Warsaw (Ph.D., MSc. in Economics, habilitation), Purdue University (with an MA in Economics), and also studied at the London School of Economics. His main research interests are international trade, the internationalisation of firms, and computable general equilibrium. He has published in such journals as World Economy, Review of International Economics, International Review of Economics and Finance, Post-Soviet Affairs, Plos ONE, Economics of Transition, Macroeconomic Dynamics, Economic Modelling, Journal of Policy Modelling, Applied Economics, and the Review of Economic Dynamics among others.
