Biography
Professor of Political Science, and a Doctor at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. Her research interests include the development of representative institutions in Eastern and Central Europe. She has published and edited ten books, along with more than 100 articles and book chapters. She has been involved in several international research projects including studies on parliamentary affairs, opposition, gender issues, and the European Union. She has served as a member of the executive committee of the European Consortium for Political Research and has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award Bibó Prize of the Hungarian Political Science Association.
