Biography

Doctor of Economics, Doctor of Public Administration, Professor, and Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and Innovative Development at Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University. He is an Honoured Economist of Ukraine and a scholarship holder of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for the most talented young scientists. He is the author of over 130 scientific and educational-methodological works, including more than 30 articles in Scopus and Web of Science scientometric databases. His expert activities including being: a member of the industry expert council of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (2019–2020); an expert on the accreditation of educational programmes of the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (2019–present); a member of the expert council for the examination of dissertations of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (2018–present); a member of the editorial boards of the scientific journals Economics, Management, and Administration and Public Policy and Accounting, as well as serving as Editor-in-Chief of the scientific journal Society and Security of Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University. His research interests include: the prevention and counteraction of economic crime; the activities of international police organisations; the activities of military-political alliances; and the financing of states’ defence functions. He has supervised 4 Doctors of Economic Sciences, 1 Doctor of Legal Sciences, 3 Doctors of Sciences in Public Administration, 7 Candidates of Economic Sciences, 3 Candidates of Sciences in Public Administration, and 2 Doctors of Philosophy. He has participated (or participates) in various scientific research projects: 1) as head of the research project Mechanism of Economic and Environmental Rehabilitation of Economic Entities after Emergencies and Hostilities as a Component of National Security; 2) as the responsible executor of the research project Policy on Refugees and Internally Displaced Persons in the Face of Threats to National Security and the Post-Conflict State of the Economy; 3) as executor of the research project Ensuring the Economic Security of Territorial Production Complexes; 4) as executor of the research project Public Administration under Martial Law and Post-War Recovery; 5) as executor of the research project “Post-War Recovery of Ukraine in the Context of Global Changes”; 6) as scientific supervisor of the research project “Development of Methodology and Tools for Judicial Economic Expertise to Assess Economic Losses”. He also participates in numerous international scientific projects, including: Digitisation of the Economy as an Element of Sustainable Development in Ukraine and Tajikistan (DigEco); Integration of Migrants into the Local Economy (MILEstone); Plastic Revolution for European Regions (PLASTIX); and Improving the Efficiency of Scientific and Innovative Potential and Competencies in the European Union.
