Despoina Kanteler

Ph.D., received her doctorate from the University of Western Macedonia, Greece, and has more than 12 years of academic and professional experience in sustainability, regional development, emergency management, and geospatial technologies, including remote sensing. She has extensive experience in project management, coordination and implementation, as well as in financial and procurement administration. She has contributed to both academia and international organisations, successfully managing large-scale projects and budgets. Her professional portfolio includes involvement in numerous national, European and international projects, as well as experience in lecturing and providing technical, administrative and educational services. She is committed to generating meaningful societal impact through interdisciplinary research and applied innovation.
