Biography

Associate Professor, turkologist, political scientist, and a researcher and lecturer at the University of Warsaw. She is the author of many articles, studies, and books on the culture, literature, and contemporary history of Turkey, Polish-Turkish relations, and the Polish community in the 19th and 20th centuries. She has lectured at the University of Istanbul. In the years 1995–1998, she was the Consul General in Istanbul. A member of the Editorial Board of Türk-Islam Medeniyeti, Akademik Araştirmalar Dergisi (Konya). Also a member of the Union of Polish Translators and the Polish Orientalist Society.
