Christian Orobello

is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Gdańsk’s School of Economics, where he serves as an Assistant Lecturer. He holds a Master’s in Business Administration and is currently completing his Ph.D. in Economics, with his dissertation focusing on the economics of poverty and the diminishing access to resources among disadvantaged populations. Prior to his academic career, Mr. Orobello spent over 20 years working directly with low-income families and children. He is a founding board member of two nonprofit organisations in the United States that provide shelter and services to the homeless. His research primarily seeks to understand the economic conditions contributing to poverty. Since relocating to Europe, he has collaborated with both international and local NGOs to address homelessness, focusing on its impact on individuals and communities. He believes his research offers valuable insights into these complex issues and provides a foundation for developing effective, inclusive solutions.
