Beata Przybylska-Maszner

Biography

Ph.D. – political scientist and Europeanist. Since 2016, she has been an associate professor at the Department for European Integration Research of the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism at the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. Not only is she editor-in-chief of Rocznik Integracji Europejskiej (the European Integration Yearbook), she is also a member of Team Europe Poland, a network of experts in European studies. Her academic interests focus around the themes of the institutionalisation process of the European Union’s Common Foreign and Security Policy, in particular its influence on EU relations with specific states and regions. Her research also concentrates on: reform of the EU’s institutional systems; coordination of EU external actions; and implementation of the EU’s instruments for financing external actions. Since 2016, professor Przybylska-Maszner has been a coordinator of a project entitled “The European Council in the process of shaping its formal and informal powers within the scope of EU external actions”.
