Beata Glinka

Ph.D., is a full professor at the Faculty of Management and Social Communication at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, where she heads the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Her research focuses on organisations, management processes, and entrepreneurship, with a strong emphasis on qualitative methods. Her work includes pioneering research on migrant entrepreneurship in the Polish context. She has held visiting researcher and visiting professor positions at Columbia University (NY, USA), George Mason University (USA), and the University of Szeged (Hungary), and has served in numerous leadership roles atmboth the University of Warsaw and the Jagiellonian University. Actively engaged in the international academic community, she serves as Editor-in-Chief of European Management Studies, Deputy Editor of the Journal of Organizational Change Management, and Associate Editor of the Journal of Enterprising Communities, as well as a member of several editorial boards. Her scholarly, teaching, and organisational achievements have been recognised with awards from the Foundation for Polish Science, the Fulbright Foundation, and the Rector of the University of Warsaw.
