Artur Adamczyk

Biography

Ph.D., attained his doctorate in Political Science upon graduating from the University of Warsaw’s Institute of International Relations (International Studies). He is an Assistant Professor, as well as being the editor-in-chief of the scientific quarterly “Studia Europejskie – Studies in European Affairs”. A specialist in International Relations in the field of European Studies, his main fields of research interest are: the institutional system of the European Union; the decision-making process in the EU; and the Foreign and Security Policy of the EU (Mediterranean dimension). Additionally, he is a visiting professor at different European universities, and a participant of various research projects as well as a lecturer in the fields of: the institutions and functioning of the EU; the decision-making process and lobbying in the EU; and the foreign policies of selected European States. Finally, Professor Adamczyk is the author, co-author, and editor of over 90 publications, including the books An Introduction to European Studies: A New Approach to Uniting Europe (2013); Poland and Turkey in Europe – Social, Economic, and Political Experiences and Challenges (2013); The European Union and Poland – Problems and Achievements (2015); Poland in the European Union: Ambitions and Possibilities (2015); The EU Facing Current Challenges, Opportunities, Crisis, & Conflicts (2019); Balkan Ambitions and Polish Inspirations: Experiences, Problems and Challenges (2022), and Poland’s Experience in Combating Disinformation: Inspirations for the Western Balkans (2023).
