Antonina Astone

Biography

Ph.D. – associate professor of private law, albeit qualified for the functions of full professor, in the Department of Political and Juridical Sciences of the University of Messina, and is also a lawyer admitted before the Supreme Courts. She has been a member of the Ph.D. College in Legal Sciences at the University of Messina since 2010, and a corresponding member of the National Association of Italian Civilists. Professor Astone is also a member of: the review committee of the journal Giustizia Scuola forense Vittorio Emanuele Orlando di Roma; the editorial board of Diritto di InternetDigital Copyright e Data protection; the Scientific Committee of the journal Studia Europejskie – Studies in European Affairs; and of the editorial board of the legal journal Diritto Mercato Tecnologia. She is the author of several essays on civil law and, in particular, of the following monographs: L’incapacità economica sopravvenuta di adempiere. Problemi e prospettive, in Monographs of Contratto e impresa, Cedam Wolters Kluwer, 2023; I dati personali dei minori in rete; Dall’Internet delle persone all’internet delle cose; Temi di diritto privato e di diritto pubblico, Giuffrè, 2019; Il divieto di abuso del diritto – Diritto scritto diritto vivente, Giuffrè, 2017; and I danni non patrimoniali alla persona: la prova, Giuffrè, 2011.
