Anna Skolimowska

Ph.D., is a Professor at the Department of International Relations and European Studies at the Institute of Political Science and Public Administration, Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw, and Scientific Coordinator of the Research Network on European Identity. Professor Skolimowska is the author and editor of, inter alia,: Perceptions of the European Union’s Identity in International Relations (London/New York 2019); Constructivism in the European Studies (Warsaw 2013); and The European Union as an International Organization (Warsaw 2014). Her research interests lie in the constructivist paradigm of international relations, the Normative Power Europe concept, identity issues within the framework of the EU’s foreign and external policy, as well as in the ideational factors shaping international relations. In addition to being a visiting professor at the Vienna University and at the Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Professor Skolimowska is also a member of: The Political Sciences Committee of the Polish Academy of Sciences; The Polish Association of International Studies; The Polish Association of European Studies; and The European International Studies Association.
